About Me

About Me

I’ve always felt very passionate about helping and supporting people.

I noticed from an early age that I was always empathetic of the situations around me and would have a strong desire to help when I could.

Five years ago, I began my journey to become a counsellor, with two young boys and my job in retail, I created time and began studying at Cardiff University part time… I instantly knew this was the place for me! I would read book after book until the early hours, and my passion for a career in therapeutic counselling grew immensely.

I’m a kind, warm and nurturing person with lots of patience and understanding, I take a person-centred approach which focuses on the client expressing themselves by allowing them to do this in a safe supported environment, this creates empowerment and the confidence to move forward in addressing emotional needs.

I’m a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and follow their ethical guidelines.

Taking that first step by asking for support, is such an important part of taking back control of your mental wellbeing, you deserve to be healthy and happy!
